How can i know if a GTA version is patched or not?

i bought mine yesterday from the sunday market secound hand its should have a 2.00 update patch well i just looked at the back where it says rockstar 2005 next to the playing info for how many players logo thing best to try secound hand then new i reckon since the patch update was released in 2006

if it comes with the v2.00 update then its the one youwant but if it has a higher firmware upodate then dont get that
