u got a point there... in the sony update to 2.5 it says u'll have support for trail mp3's or i dunno what it says.. but it says something like that.. so.. i tried this a MONTH ago or something and it didn't work for me but heck i'm not good at coding or hexing

as far as the update is conserned, its not looking in any other place other then where its meant to look the "firmware". what if we ran a program that masks the firmware and shows somthing else when the update goes and checks to see what version it has.
