how would i make these files into a playable ISO? - PSP3D.com - Sony PlayStation Portable News, Homebrew, Hacks, Reviews, Videos, Mods, Forums

i have a couple ISOs that are full of files named like this:

ISOGAMENAME.001
ISOGAMENAME.002
ISOGAMENAME.003
ISOGAMENAME.004
ISOGAMENAME.005
ISOGAMENAME.006
ISOGAMENAME.007
ISOGAMENAME.008
ISOGAMENAME.009
ISOGAMENAME.010
ISOGAMENAME.011
ISOGAMENAME.sfv

is there a tool i need to like compress these files althogether to form a ISO image file?

I told you yesterday, right click on ISOGAMENAME.001 open it with winrar and then you will see the ISO (or whatever is in there) now just extract it.

Try opening the first 1 in winrar and extracting it that way, if that dont work, look for a program called KSSPLITTER, it is an awesome file splitter and joiner, and it works on .001 and up extensions.

and i told YOU that winRAR didnt have the ability to extract those kind of files

ok, after using KSSpilter, i finally was about to "join" all the .001 extension files

so, heres an example of BEFORE:

ISOGAME.001
ISOGAME.002
ISOGAME.003
ISOGAME.004
ISOGAME.005

and after joining it, it became this:

ISOGAME

its not any specific kind of file however (under properties, it just says that its a "file") so how would i get it converted into a playable ISO now?

change the name to ISONAME.iso

just add the .iso extension to the name then it should work...most likely it will

But rename it, then try opening it in WinRAR - if it has the standard ISO files (PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.bin) then it should work.
