| | | | Is it possible that downgrade the 2.6 with TA-082 to 1.0 someday?
Since the 1.5 firmware can not run on TA-082,can the 1.0 firmware run
on it？if so, can we make a downgrader that downgrade the 2.6 with TA-082
to 1.0 directly? |

Points: 30.02 Donate | | | As I understand it, the reason that we can't downgrade those psp's is because sony moddified the motherboard's boot code and IPL. So untill we can find a way around those, this ain't happening. This is also the same reason that the mod chip won't work (on this model of psp). It replaces part of the bios and using a custom boot loader to change f/w.
