I'm not a coder and i'm talking from my ignorance but, since dark alex has released a tool to decrypt firmware dumps, can't a new program that does the other way round be developed? i mean create an encrypted update out of a modified dump...

Does it make sense or i'm just talking crap? i mean, a while ago the decryption of 2.6-2.7x was unthinkable, and now they are just there...

We have neither the encryption key nor the encryption algorithm to use, so ... crap.

128 bit key decrypter in 5 years we will have it build a time machine and build a custom firmware when the psp first comes out MUHAHAH!!1!11!!!!

Ok, I'm completely Confused I thought that 1.0 aloud un-signed code so you woulden't need to encrypt it to change the flash and that... *Please don't flame me for my n00bishness....*
