Im sorry to bring this up again but i would like a definitve answer from those people in the know, as to what is going on with respect to the ta-082 motherboard psp's.

I know this has been refferered to in other theads but i would like to start one that can finally clear up what is going on.

As far as I can tell it is as follows:

The Dark Alex downgrader (thank you by the way) will not work on the ta-082 due to the chip not accepting the 1.5 ipl. Thereby not accepting the 1.5 firmware (im not sure if this is correct but if someone could explain the exact technical details I would be most appreciative

)

So is a 2.6 to 1.5 downgrader at all possible?

If not, is it technically possible to get a 2.6 to downgrade directly to 1.0? i.e. is there any hardware or software problems that make this impossible?

Im sorry to ask these questions again, but would like it if all questions/answers pertaining the ta-082 were in one place and provide definitive answers to the unlucky few of us as a pose to being spread over most downgrader threads in the forum.

Sorry if people feel this is going over the same old. But would like to know exactly what is going on as a pose to heresay.

if its the 1.5 ipl it wont accept then maybe downgrade to 2.00

I believe, from what many other ppl have said, it blocks anything from 1.5 to 2.01. I doubt it can get around these barriers.

Yeah new security checks in the TA-082 psp's block 1.5 from being ran.

they're evil thatz why, they figure why should you need it if we don't hav a way for u to downgrade u shouldn't hav to.

they should make it illegal to block a firmware. cuz downgrading is not illegal so ppl should have a choice what firmware they want

because then more people can go to 1.5 and in sony's minds more people will be able to download isos of their games. their main concern is with piracy weather (weather or whether?) it is sony or nintendo.
