what can i do to reduce the size of an ISO to the smallest possible size?

i heard by using programs like UMDGEN and stuff, we can delete cutscenes and BGM and stuff like that from an ISO?

because i dont have a very big memory stick and i would like to know how to maximize my space usage by making ISOs into the smallest size possible (but still be able to play it of course).

Yes it is true. Wth UMDGEN you CAN delete stuff like cutseens and movies and even music. With that said if you want to compress it even more use DaxISO to compress the overall size.

if you extract the iso you can delete the update, that makes it a bit smaller, then re-pack the iso with UMDgen compress to a .dax file, if you need it in .cso use CSIO

yea, thats what i was also thinking of

are there any other files i could delete (besides the update file) without harming the game (making it unplayable)?

also, when i need to MAKE an ISO using UMDGEN, all i need are the:

SYSDIR
USRDIR
ICON0
PARAM.SFO and the
PIC1

files rite?

Use Devhook and convert your ISOS to Cso with CISO Converter...or...use UMDGEN like everybody said.
