ok this i am not sure of because i have never heard of anything concerning this
since the time comes closer to a down grader if you run a 1.5 japanese will it change the language and keypad to japanese and will x become o and vice versa

i dont think so when i downgraded from 2.0 to japanese 1.5 i dont think anything changed

I think it will, because it will not have English as one of the choices. If you don't have a japanese PSP (1000k) don't use a japanese 1.5 downgrader if and when it comes out
