ok iam a total noob, iam trying to talk my self into downgrading, but iam a chicken sh..., before i do, i have some ?'s

1. as far as homebrew, can i just download the hb's and as long as it has the folder and the %folder i fine, i don't need kxploit or anything, is that correct.

2. if i have devhook and i am in the 2.5 or 2.6 fw to load games and such, can i still run homebrews w/o GTA, also in that stage, will i stay in the 2.5-6 until a hard boot, can i just go into powersave like that if iam running an iso off a memstick, or do i have to get out and into the home before i powersave my psp.

1. yes, as long as you have those 2 folders you are good

2. and with devhook if you are in 2.5 or 2.6 you cant run homebrew from the xmb untill you do a hard reboot and go back into 1.5 (but apparently there is a patch for it or something that lets you go back into 1.5 w/o a hard reboot i guess) and yes you can go into powersave like normal and when you turn it back on or whatever, you will still be in 2.5/2.6 mode

If you have GTA you can update to 2.60 (don't go any higher otherwise all homebrew will be lost!!!!) then downgrade to 1.5 where you will be able to emulate 2.60 using DevHook (this also allows the newset games to be ran on 1.5 and ISO's of course) and you will also be able to boot all homebrew from the main psp menu.
