Quite a Few Questions

1. Where can I find a 1.0 Eboot? If anyone has one can you either pm me or email me at boredone63@yahoo.com? My AIM is boredone63 and same with my Yahoo! IM.
2.I just downgraded to 1.5. How come some of the homebrew that worked with the eloader dont work on 1.5?
3. Will 1.0 firmware make all homebrew launchable?
4. Besides downgrading to 1.0, is there any other way to fix the not working homebrew for 1.5?
5.How do I use a UMD loader and firmware loader?

Thanks in advance.

well if you dont want corrupt icons all you need to do is use flashmod or just rename the folders to __SCE__example and %__SCE__example 1.5 is almost the same as 1.0 but with more homebrew and crap

Yea so if it has more homebrew isnt it better? and what about compatibility. And by one folder I mean like that Gemp gameboy/gameboy color emulator for example theres only one folder and nothing with a % after it.

My overall point for the firmware stuff is so far, I've only seen 1.5 as less compatible than 2.5/1.6's eloader ... and I was told 1.0 would be better. Also, how exactly do you use a firmware loader or a UMD loader and whats the difference. I dont even know if I need to know that. I just wanna know how to play iso games exGTA) off the memorystick.

You can use the NO-KXploit patcher and everything will run on a 1.5 regardless of the folders. Give me a sec to find the link for you...

---EDIT---
here's the link: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/413
Put in the the game folder in your memory stick, run it, and enjoy all your homebrew. NOTE: the patch will remain in ram (meaning you don't have to run it again) untill:
A) A app causes your psp to crash causing letter B to happen.
B) You hard reboot (not sleep) your psp.

By the way, the reason you are seeing less compatability (now) is because 1.5 needs a hack (that two folder thing mentioned above, I'm not goinjg into details of how it works) to run homebrew. This patcher alows you to not have to waste the time to convert all of your old homebrew to something that 1.5 will boot, at the expence of having to re-run it from a cold start.

My personal opinion is that 1.5 is better then 1.0, because alot of homebrew is 1.5 only. For example: iso loaders, devhook, the dynamic version of PSPRadio, etc.

Thank you very much. That solves one big problem. Now if I can just figure out exactly what UMD and firmware loaders and and how to use them and make and use ISOs... Again, THANKS!
