No I doubt it it is only a crash. It took quite a while to get homebrew running on 2.01-2.60 and things that made the psp crash were all over the place; a crash can mean an exploit but in the end a crash is a crash and usually it only does it because it doesn't understand what the thing that makes it do this is trying to say (it cannot register the commands).

Hey everyone. I'm a new PSP owner and have gotten very interested in how hackable they are. Unfortunately, I have a 2.71 version. I was talking to a buddy who wants to sell his fist generation 1.5 PSP, a case, a bunch of crappy games, some crappy movies and some assesories for $250.

I was thinking if I do buy it off him, can't I use the 1.5 one to make both of my PSP's 1.5??? Or would it be a better bet to just use the new one for all the fun stuff and sell the 2.71 one? Do you think 250 is worth it?? It is used. Thanks.
