I feel very annoyed with myself for upgrading to 2.70 and especially since the 2.50/2.60 downgrader.

Does this mean that less people are working on a 2.70/2.71 exploit (Us 2.70+ users don't really deserve homebrew seen as it was our stupid selves that killed our chances of homebrew).

I have a feeling since that the modchip is available and the downgrader not many people if any are working on a 2.70/2.71 exploit.

I would like to know if anyone knows of any progress that has been made with exploiting 2.70/2.71?

I already know of the shutting down thing which isn't even progress because it just causes the psp to crash because of a missing file from the eboot.

I have considered the modchip but it looks too hard to install!!!

I have even considered getting another psp!!!

I have one more option, swap my psp with a friends psp which is 2.01 (He doesn't know about homebrew and only uses his psp for music and videos but his psp is in need of a new faceplate)

Does anyone here know what firmware a base pack psp bought from the UK will have installed and what motherboard model/number?

I want a Downgrader too.

Im so Unhappy with my 2.71 PSP, and i was a fool and i hate me für the Upgrade.

But finding a Exploit is hard. And starting Eboots on 2.70/2.71 is only a Update and that means we need a encryption shit.

Maybe the Flash Player is our last hope?!?

I was reading up on overflows and found one for the OGG file, I was wondering if that had been attempted on the PSP.

You mean with OGG the Music File Ogg Vorbis right?

But the PSP System dont can play OGG Files

I found some image files that cause the psp to crash but some of the forums users on here said there is little hope for them.

GestrafterAdler might wanna remain MAC anonymous!!!
