Points: 1.75 Donate | | | I heard that the 2.5 And 2.6 exploit also worked in the most recent firmwares, however, we do not have another exploit, so we can run eloader (or basicly the downdater), to downgrade the 2.7x FW. |

Points: 18.80 Donate | | | Yes, the downdater WOULD work on 2.7 and 2.71 because neither the homebrew community nor the Sony corp new about it until after the release of 2.71. So it's my guess that anything that's after 2.71 will be patched up.
Although that's all fine and dandy we still need someone to go the way of Fanjita and find a freeking exploit.
ALSO. The next person that refers to themselves as a dumbass for upgrading get's a bitch slap. Stupid apathetic-ass emo psp owners and their 2.71 psp's...
I own a 2.7 because there was no exploit for 2.6 when it came out so I figured I might as well upgrade anyways since I didn't even mess with homebrew anymore. I'm not pissed off at me because it was my choice and I gotta deal with it. STOP PISSING AND MOANING ABOUT YOUR OWN DAMNED DECISIONS.

If anyone finds an exploit for 2.7-2.71 we could run the downdater. Now if I'm not mistaken, the GTA exploit WOULD work if it were the correct file size. So why don't we make the eloader the correct file size and the downdater the correct file size? (add 0's to the end of the scripting, maybe make the file smaller by removing unnecessary coding)
