ROFL, this is nothing, this has been done numerous times, all he did was basically edit the param.sfo, it isnt that hard. He edited the param.sfo and changed the pic of a 2.50 eboot, by doing this the psp will start the update, but then do a security check in numerous places to make sure everything is right, and of course its not right if it failed. I have done this before too, trust me, its nothing.

Then why haven't we edited anything else that won't corrupt it?

Also, I watched the video again and saw the "Corrupted file" which I didn't notice at first, just saw it go black and then the version screen the first time.

Basically any editing to a PBP will result in a corrupt file, but if you alter the param the right way, you can get the psp to boot up any update, but at the start screen it gives you that same error, its not hard at all. Nice fake though dude.

I dont know, but its been done, and if i had a cam i would do it too. It only takes 5 mins to do. This is a fake, so understand that.
