| | | | does software like devhook for psp kill flash? hey guys .. I was wondering about the software that emulates other firmwares and such .. does it write to the flash every time it emulates it? and thus wearing out the flash over time. |

Points: 493.11 Donate | | | Devhook, MPH Firmware launcher, or any other firmware emulator is all done in the ram, no flash writing at all, not even any iso loaders write to the flash, they are all safe, dont worry |

Points: 121.41 Donate | | | Why is it that DevHook sometimes 'brakes' some of the homebrew after returning back to 1.5 from 2.6 or 2.71?
They still boot but it returns to XMB with an error code.
I've had to format my MS couple of times because of it. |

Points: 22.23 Donate | | lol as stated devhook and most iso loaders do not access your flash0. i have heard of one who bricked his psp via fastloader but he may have been bull-sh*tting. i dont believe any of the iso loaders have flash access, UNLESS you download from someone who has modified it in a maliciuos way therefore stick to well known psp site and you cant go wrong
