Points: 2.38 Donate | | im not sure what you mean but some mods are usually prx's and you can just edit the config file to load it but i think it depends on how they change it
Since this is about custom firmware does anyone know if Haryleyg's mod clocks the psp at 333mhz automatically i know Zettablade's mod is but i currently have Haryleyg's and idk if its the same

Points: 0.06 Donate | | | I think with the mod-chip yes. But if you don't have a mod-chip I don't think you can have more than one. Since the custom firmware writes to the flash which on the PSP it has only 1 Flash0 and 1 Flash1 folders on it so the custom firmwares over write the files with their patch(es). If that's what you mean. |

Points: 22.21 Donate | | | i think you misunderstand by custom firmware it means to modify the original 1.5 slightly to give you options you want not write multiple firmwares to one flash

Points: 22.26 Donate | | | I dont know a whole lot about this custom firmware business myself, but my understanding is that the 'custom firmware' isn't like one big single package like the Sony eboot updates, I think the custom firmware's are just custom PRX modules that you apply to the current firmware to either add to or overwrite the standard PRXs, so I would think that the number of custom firmwares you can have basically just means how many PRXs can you apply to the current firmware
Although...I could be totally wrong, I look forward to a more knowledgable soul coming into this thread and enlightening us |
