Ill bet 10$ they don't....And who cares about video streaming on higher FWs? We already have homebrew that can do that better than Sony ever can.

More than likely we will easily be able to dump it, as soon as either PSPSet or Booster updates the PSAR Dumber for support for the 2.80 header, if that comes, then we will be able to get a dump easily, we might not be able to emulate it if sony changes the way it runs, but eventually Booster will crack it, and emulate it. HopeFully

if the only new feature is going to be video rss then it will probably be 2.x. when 3.0 comes around they will probably add something else new in like they did with 2.0 and the internet browser. just a guess though.

I just got off the phone with Sony customer service guy. He told me in the new FW there will be universal remote for satellites on Location Free. I just installed it on my PSP and Viao, it's awesome.

Lightbulb

cool, but i am still not going to upgrade from 1.5 that would be totally stupid! anyway my opinion is that they should make somthing in the firware that would totally blow our minds like just something, something so good on the PSP that I can't really thinkof it (other than support for Homebrews)...

Most of the stuff in these new updates are all intertwined into the Web function.
The reason I don't like them, is because I hate the psp internet and never use it anyway. So I probably won't update unless there's something better than that.
