Firmware 2.80 has just been released worldwide via Network Update for the PSP. Update at your own risk, and remember, no firmware 2.7X or higher can run homebrew applications and games, so think before you update!  New features/updates in firmware 2.80 include:
- RSS video support.
- AAC audio in .3GP extensions support added.
- Ability to wirelessly login to LocationFree player.
- New game demo support. Download the 2.80 US firmware from PSP 3D here. |
