Team Shadow has just released the new iteration of SimpleAmp, SimpleAmp: Reborn. SimpleAmp: Reborn is a homebrew PSP MP3 player, offering a better solution than the standard XMB MP3 playing capabilities. One of the coolest things about this player is the visualizations, something that Sony has yet to add to the standard player. The new version of SimpleAmp compiles a handful of new funcationality additions and fixes, improving battery life, and adding new graphics and visualizations. New features/fixes in Reborn include:
- Id3 v2 skipping (to avoid header read errors).
- .MP3 song buffering added.
- Clock work frequency reduced to 266 to enhance battery duration.
- New audio functions: NORMAL, SHUFFLE, and REPEAT.
- Improved graphic visualizations: EQUALIZER, OSCILLOSCOPE, and BOTH.
- Audio gain volume.
- Fast rewind / fast forward.
- Main graphical restyling.
- Enhanced graphical core.
- Various bugs fixed.
