ZX-81 has just released a new performance update to PSPVBA, a GameBoy Advance homebrew emulator for the PSP, even though he stated just a day ago that he would no longer work performance enhancements, since he had run out of ideas to improve the emulator with. Once again, however, ZX-81 continues to show his dedication to the PSP community by further improving on the emulator, adding an additional speed increase of up to 6% on games such as V-Rally 3. Great work, ZX-81!

New features/fixes in v1.2.3 include:
- Rewrite critical parts of graphic emulation source code.
- Rewrite critical parts of the ARM emulator to make it going faster.
- Review memory cache strategy.
- Bug fix and code cleaning.

Remember, this version of the emulator only works on firmware 1.5/1.0, due to its utilization of the PSP's media engine.

YAY, he hasnt given up, keep going ZX-81, keep going and bring the psp scene a full speed GBA emu for psp

I thought he had run out of ideas and finished working on this aswell. Oh well good work ZX-81.

Well, he never said he was done, he just said that he kept trying things to improve speed and nothing worked, but hopefully he will have a MAJOR breakthrough
