The PSP community is buzzing with the word of a potential full speed FPS PlayStation One emulator in the works, developed by a French "team." Videos of the emulator in its early stages were released just days, showing off a PoC (proof of concept) build, which flawlessly played two PSX games, at nearly full speed framerate. Many question the authenticity of those videos, claiming that fake ones could easily be produced by resizing a video of a real PSOne playing the games. Now, a new screenshot of Tekken 2, another PSOne game, is floating around the net, showing 10 FPS during emulation, without dynarec fixes or any sort of optimizations. 
Who is this emulator developed by? None other than Yoshihiro himself, as an email submitted to us states, the praised co-developer of the recent downgraders for 2.XX firmware alongside Dark_AleX and Mathieulh. Lets hope this project is real, as salivating PSOne emulation can get, the community has been fooled many times in the past by supposed team developments and videos.

Points: 2.04 Donate | | Well... You say Yoshihiro? He's one of the programmers? I'm shocked, lol.... But u say full speed? i heard it could only run some commercial games (RR, Tekken 2) at limited FPS... so please enlighten me

Points: 8,737.69 Donate | | | Personally? I think this one is real. Sure, the PICTURE of Tekken 2 in action is really nothing for us, since pictures are incredibly easy to edit/fake, but the videos did look half way convincing.

Another memory stick-intensive application could have been used to shoot the picture, then the screen replaced with that of Tekken 2. Not trying to be pessimistic but lets not jump the gun.
Or the light could have just been added in with PhotoShop, as Lil13lazin suggested.
