Actually, fanjita e-mailed psp3d to tell about the exploit first. Before saying anything bad about psp3d please check your information...
| Take your own advice, Fanjita didn't email it in. How do I know? I asked him. Quote: |
He got this info himself. We at psp3d know Fanjita and get our sources from him rather than other sites. Thank you knowing the facts before accusal.
| Take your own advice. I was chatting with Fanjita before he even posted this info on the QJ Forums. I knew it was coming. Quote: |
AFAIK, our article was up a good 20 minutes before you're own.
| Being first doesn't make you the source. The source was the original post by Fanjita on QJ Forums. Sorry, but I had to write the article up and do a decent job of it - as opposed to causing false excitement (which is what Fanjita did NOT want) by screaming "2.80 Exploit Confirmed" when it is not. It is only 2.0 and 2.01 right now. Quote: |
We get news via email which is then made into an article.
| Again, that info had to come from somewhere, which was this post: http://forums.qj.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=320
I do apologize for assuming you were the rather rude Digger I ran into and am glad that wasn't the case. |

As much as I think the PSP has a long future, the homebrew community has been falling apart in some ways. Honestly, it's not worth the time and energy to argue over who gets what news first, etc etc. Obviously we have a smaller team of writers at 3D, be it because financial support or what, but it's pitiful that we are (as webmasters) complaining about who gets what news when. I'm done, for the amount of time I invest in this site daily, I get paid in peanuts. Let me make that a public announcement for all the striving kids out there trying to rise to the top. Being a webmaster for a topic like this (PSP, PSP homebrew, releases, etc) is the biggest pain in the ass, ever, especially when you have to be up 24/7. |

Seriously though, I think you shouldn't accuse others of stealing information, a psp3d ADMIN would NEVER do that!!! At psp3d all of our data is from the direct source. Is it really a topic to bitch and moan so much over? We could sit here and argue over it all day about it and still be no where, our Admins here at psp3d have their sources, thanks.
