Developers, ready to get your creative juices engines into gear? The greatest PSP homebrew developer contest ever has begun!* We have $200 saved up to giveaway in this contest, that's a lot of cash to spend on whatever you wish, not just limited to PSP prizes, but whatever floats your boat! You could save up for the upcoming Wii, PS3, or maybe for the revised PSP coming next spring. Or you could forget about gaming consoles and hold onto that money for a few new shirts for yourself or your loved one. You decide!



Here's how the contest works. All developers interested, with a new homebrew creation, send their entries to PSP3D.com staff. We review each submission, and add it in a poll alongside all the other entries. On September 24th, 2006, the poll will be publicly posted on the homepage of PSP3D.com, where the entire community votes for their favorite homebrew. Each vote earns you $0.50 USD. People keep voting until the total amount of votes reaches $200.00 USD (400 votes, collectively for all homebrew entries). Only one vote per PSP3D.com member, all new accounts voting will be checked, and double checked, for legitamacy. Surely, somebody will vote at least once for your creation, so all developers win, in the end. It's just a matter of who gets the most votes in the shortest amount of time!

Now for the rules. Only one submission per developer. The submission must be a unique and unreleased piece of homebrew; the entry need not be a new homebrew, per say, but may be an update to a previously released game/application. Keep in mind that a new release may score more points amongst the community, so you choose how much you want to make! You must have a PayPal account in order to acquire the prize money. The prize money will not be sent via any other means. All homebrew entries must have [this image] shown in a splash screen at the start of the game/application. Contest ends on Sunday, September 24th, at 3:00 P.M. EST. Public poll will be posted later, same day. Send all submissions to joe[at]PSP3D.com. PSP3D.com reserves the right to cancel/delay the contest should a lack of sufficient entries (deemed at a later date, before the public poll release date) arise.
