Static has just released the first multiplayer cheat device for SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo. Though cheating is not particularly welcomed by the general online gaming community, for the few who enjoy this sort of thing, it's a great release which, from a developer standpoint, offers new techniques of applying homebrew to retail games, eliminating the gap between indie and corporate games. 
Under the name Illusion, the cheat device offers a few awesome features, but also has a few limitations. Health cheats, rapid fire, and ammo cheats are among the capabilities available in this initial release. You can only use it if you have a UMD copy of the game; ISO users will be unable to utilize the cheating device. It only works on 1.5 firmware PSPs, due to its utilization of kernal mode features. Finally, you will need to look out for what version of the game you have; on the back of the UMD disc, if there is a small #2, then you have the compatible UMD version. Other than that, this cheat device has supposedly been in the works for over half a year now, props to Static and all the others who gave him a hand for all the hard work, we're looking forward to the future versions as well! I hate tho's cheaters.. Man play a game like it's ment to play the game..
I already knew there was something like an cheating app for socom.
No im not mad becouse i have the origional umd in my pocket. I just think it's unfair to play with something like an cheating devise online.
See multiplayer games like an sport. It's just no fun to play someone that has something like a cheatdevise.
Fuck this :S This is the most untollerated app ever made for the psp.
