Want to know why the easy installer for Dark_AleX's 2.71 custom firmware wasn't posted on PSP3D.com? Simply put, it's illegal! Though many other PSP websites released and distributed the installer just recently, little be known to the average PSP user, the installer they downloaded, and possibly used, consists of a copy of the 1.50 firmware dump included internally inside the installation package, which contains copyrighted code by Sony. 
It would be wise for all other sites to pull all copies of the installer before Sony cracks down on yet another embedded, intentionally or not intentionally, copyright violation.

P.S. Go to http:\\psp-hacks.com , and you'll find way more illegal junk. It's not our problem.

anyways. I can't get the devhook that came in the installer to work.. getting a error and then it reboot. anyone knows what's wrong? thought it whould be working "from the box" but i guess not. :S | |
