It's been a while since the last update has been released, but it is crucial that everyone with a previous version updates to v3.1, as those will no longer work properly.
In case you're new to this application, it's basically a tool which tracks your PSP. Whenever the PSP is plugged in via USB on an Internet-enabled Windows computer, the PSP sends the IP address of the potential thief to your predefined email address specified, and from there you can report the IP to the proper authorities, and hopefully, recover your stolen property. This is extremely useful if your PSP is ever stolen, and is very convenient, as it only takes 15 KB on your Memory Stick! New features/fixes in v3.1 include:
- Miscellaneous updates to core.
Great job, Bawls! Thanks for helping keep our PSPs safe!
Remember, if you use v3.0 or below of ATPSP, you will need to update. Other versions will NOT work! [Download]

Kinda like password protection?

Just like your tv. the positve thing is that if you have kids itl make them quiet when they are bad and the bad thing is that it has stuff on there that can make them violent so i guess that we'll just to try and work around it though but a custom addon to a firmware would be awesome. that shouldnt be hard though because if Dark_alex was able to pretty much combine 1.5 and 2.71 he should be able to do something like this but who knows. Also i think that sony should consider something like this in the future but i wouldnt even depend on it because look at the GPS. I thought that they would have dropped it 1st in the U.S. but they had to drop in japan first to them darn jappanese no offense
