I doubt that htis will go anywhere because whats going to happen to those games that is rated mature that comes with the update in them. Are these companies such as (Ubisoft and ea) going to be in legal issues too. Also look at kids buying these mature games. Lets not even mention ebay. Are they going to get into trouble too for selling these games to minors who are suppose to be 18 or older? Just a thought. what about the voided psp's that are running 2.71se and other in sony words (illegal activities on the psp). Im pretty sure that if this even goes somewhere sony will fight back by saying you voided and broke that law when you wrote to the flash on the mb. Also not the mention the iso's. Dont you all think that sony will also go after the p2p networks, torrents, and websites hosting these (illegal material in sony eyes). To my knowledge they shut booster down pretty much because he used the copyrighted reboot. file in devhook. All im saying is just to screw it because as we all know sony will never REALLY loose. If we try to get at them they will get at us even more and i do not want to loose dling iso's etc. lmfao....

Primarily because Sony has NO obligation to provide you with the lower firmware. If you're a minor and you decide that you're going to accept the agreement, you do so of your own will, and thus are not bound by it. However, this also means Sony holds no responsibility. There IS no contract between you. Therefore, there is no obligation.
In fact, if you read the bottom part of the post, it says that Sony could SUE YOU for falsifying a legal document. |

But he's right, they never forced us to update, but then again, what about UMD updates? You can't play without updating! |
