Dark_Alex has just updated his fantastic 2.71 SE custom firmware to release B", or B3! This includes various updates over the previous sub-release, B'. Here's the changelog:

Ignores what firmware games require to play, as long as they don't need an essential bit of 2.8 or over.
Fixed an error.
Should now let GTA LCS/VCS and Virtual Tennis game ISOs play with no UMD. However, this hasn't fixed it for Burnout Legends.

To update to this firmware, you will have to go one of the following routes -

1.5 -> 2.71 SE-A -> 2.71 SE-B -> 2.71 SE-B' -> 2.71 SE-B"
1.5 -> 2.71 SE-B -> 2.71 SE-B' -> 2.71 SE-B"

I still havnt tried this, I want to but I dont want to flash my PSP, I still have issues with that

Mate its ok ive have installed it and believe me its QUALITY its so so much better than devhook and i have had no problems with it at all.

So i recommend everyone to install it as its totally safe and easy to install.

I'm on SE-B, but I didn't install the ' update. I can't find the files for it anywhere, and I know I need to update to it first before I can do ''. Does anyone know where I can get them from?
