Points: 368.48 Donate | | | New PSP Motherboard Discovered! As we all know, certain shipments of the PSP came with model TA-082 motherboards, which meant that getting to lower, homebrew-enabled firmwares was impossible, so unlucky owners of this motherboard had to make do with Dark_Alex's project, HEN, meaning they had pretty much full homebrew access on 2.71.
But now a new wave of undowngradableness (is that a word?), unluckiness, and PSPs has arrived. The motherboard PCB is named TA-086, and not a lot is know about it so far. It was posted on 0okm's blog, and there is no info on it besides the title and a single image, below:
No-one knows what firmware restrictions this new board will hold, nor whether it actually exists (fakes have been round a lot).
What do you all think? What firmware restrictions? Fake or real? [Source]
