Whoa! Lemme catch my breath. An ISO loader for 2.80 is coming? Gee I thought Fanjita said you cant get kernel on the TIFF exploit. $ony Pwn't.

By the way, kernel mode means that any code that is passed to it can be executed; that means writing to 'Flash0:' should be a breeze.
And kernel (Note, not 'kernal') mode doesn't mean an ISO loader; yes, ISO loaders need kernel mode functions to alter the path of some I/O commands to a file, but things like Devhook are still a very long way off. The launcher would need to be ported to v2.80, which means a whole lot of messing with system calls, kernel functions, and trying to find ways round security.
This is still a massive achievement, and I can't wait until this goes to the next level. Eventually we may be seeing a 2.80SE-A!  (Provided there's room in the flash and Dark_AleX or another dev can even be bothered) lol. |
