Yeah, when you think about it, people who can find interest in making a simple image run code on a handheld gaming device don't need anything "useful". lol

The thing is that the mario game here mostly uses 2D sprites, so it is just the platforms that are cubes. Still it could be done with other games I guess. I don't know if it should be done with Jump Gunnar Jump. But I'll think about it.

Did any one else notice that Mario has a little red thing flopping around where his dong should be? My gf took one look at it and pointed that out.

I kinda don't like the way this guy has phrased his release statement. In my opinion, this is 2d+eye candy. The only features it has of 3d are the looks, the user can't move into the z-axis!!! Nice effect, it just ticks me off when people will say that coders, who make FREE GAMES, make playable 2D games rather than 3D 'Demo's' and get slated for not "putting enough effort in."
I myself am currently working on a 2D engine on the side. It's not FOR the community, it's for me to get good at coding because I need to be for my A-Levels. But I'll release it because although 10+ people will tell me that I am lazy and shouldnt make more 2D stuff, I doubt they made a 3D game, and if 1 person uses the engine, then it was worth my time.

Don't insult people who spend their time making games for you, even if it is'nt a Halo clone, or a port of RCT3. They do their best, and I'M glad they still do it!!!

Not aimed at anyone here, just my 2 cents. If people don't want 2D games, make 3D games, don't shout at the ones giving up their time to make the decent 2D games.
