Points: 21.10 Donate | | | RCO Swapper v2 Released! Daveychan has just updated his nice little application that makes it easy to change the names of your Cross Media Bar menu-items without having to worry about advanced HEX-editing. The application works in a very simple way; when you start it, you will get a list of all the Cross Media Bar top-menu items. Click on any of these and you will get a list of the sub-menu items. With one of these selected, simply write the new name you want in the little text box under the drop-down menu.
You can press "Temp Save" to see your changes before actually editing any files. This makes you able to edit everything until you are 100% satisfied with your result. When finished, simply press "Swap It!"
New features in version 2 includes: - The menus "Game" and "UMD" can now be edited up to five characters!
- You no longer need to use spaces in order to fill up the entire menu name.
Currently, this is only available for Windows. Please read the included readme.txt for detailed information on how to use this application.

if you need to find out where it is, just search. or take a look in the readme.txt |

The readme tells you were the file is. But be warned, from the sound of it, if you have to ask, you shouldn't be doing this and you will most likely brick your psp.
So don't say I didn't warn you.
Use of recovery mode and mounting f0: is a must.
The file can be found in f0:\vsh\resource directory.
I can't get the utility to work correctly.
I change "network update" to "reboot" so it matches my reboot plugin. But when I swap it and then copy the file over the network update is still there in the xmb. If I reload the "new" topmenu_plugin.rco then I see that it is still unchanged.
Anyone had any luck getting it to work?
