Points: 219.07 Donate | | | Outa-Space PSP Released! Pj1115 has completed his latest utility for the many faithful PSP homebrew users out there, entitled Outa-Space PSP!
This application is a really easy-to-use way of freeing up some space on the PSP's flash0 sector (the place where the firmware is stored). It can free up to 4mb of space, which can be used instead for a shiny new gameboot movie or a more beautiful wallpaper.
Outa-Space allows for the user to remove certain features of the XMB without manually doing so with PSPfiler and the like.
Right now, it can remove: - Un-needed fonts
- Camera / GPS functionality
- Network Update
- Certificate Utility
- The photo menu
- The music menu
- The video menu
- The XMB's web browser
- RSS functionality.
That's a fairly extensive list, so if you're not into your photo's, why not put the space to good use, eh?
Be sure to read the readme.txt file in the download package, as it contains lots of important information; have fun, and thanks PJ!

btw, does it make it possible to place the files back if you need them? i guess it could be done if it stored the files it removed on the memorystick. maybe an option to chose if you want this or not. what do you think? |
