PSP UNBRICKER BY C+D & NOOBZ, Pandora Battery!

If you don't mind formatting your memory stick and wasting a battery, you can now fix broken PSPs! How?

1. You format your MS.
2. You run an app on a homebrewed PSP that makes your battery into a Pandora Battery, or as Sony calls it, a "JigKick".
3. You run a program to generate the unbricker MS image. (Fully legal)
4. You run some programs on your PC to install the image to your MS.

NOTE: Your battery will not work the same after you do this.

Noobz salutes all the members of the Prometheus project, including Adrahil, Booster, Cswindle, Dark_AleX, Ditlew, Fanjita, Joek2100, Jim, Mathieulh, Nem, Psp250, Skylark, and TyRaNiD.

Their C+D names are:

Mathieulh - WiseFellow
Tyranid - bockscar
Fanjita - FullerMonty
Joek - CosmicOverSoul
Dark_Alex - Malyot
Chris - Caretaker
Adrahil - VoidPointer
nem - h1ckeyph0rce

Remember to read the Readme, as with all homebrew.
Also, the folks at PSP3D and Noobz/C+D accept NO responsibility WHAT-SO-EVER of any damage that may arise from use of this program.

Thanks, Noobz and C+D!

Sorry about deleting the original thread. I tried merging it with another thread that had earlier posts and when I deleted the first posts it deleted the old thread!

But yes, it works, and you don't even need to actually BRICK your PSP first.

You can restore the battery too, just dump the battery serial first by pressing triangle - you can do the whole process with 1 battery. Just boot into 1.5 with the power lead, then restore the battery serial...

ARRGH! I can't get it working! I followed the steps and now I try it on my working psp and all it does is make the power light up.

Awsome! Got it working! The psp hacking community has come a long way. Wonder what else we could do with the battery...

Have you hacked your memory stick and dumped the 1.50 firmware, too?
