I was starring at it for about an hour at Wal-Mart earlier today...but managed to walk away.
Unexpectedly, 2 hours after work...a friend of mine called me up to help him go eat at Quizno's.
Unfortunately, Quizno's is next to Gamestop...and we ALWAYS go to Gamestop after eating. So, I broke down and bought the Silver PSP Slim w/Daxter & Family Guy.
I immediately came home and began working on my Pandora's Battery & Magic MS. I'm proud to announce that my brand new PSP Slim is now running custom firmware. 3.60M33.
And to answer the question once and for all, my legit backups do in fact work! Flawlessly! The only things that don't work properly are the homebrews that require 1.50 kernel mode...but thats not a big deal.

My Mood: | | | | | New guy here, ..and new to PSP's also. Huge learning curve for me compared to the last system I was interested in modding (gba sp for my kid to watch movies). Anyhoo, I am going to pick up a slim today probably from a guy who sells new units pre-modded. One question I have is compatability- specificlly ScumVM as I am getting into playing some older Sierra games over the last year or so. I read where Dosbox wont work on the new 3.60, but no one has updated that thread with the compatability list on QJ.net since it came out. Anyone know if ScummVM works?
thanks for info, folks

| | | | New PSP Slim with v3.71 Hi All
I have just purchased a new PSP Slim and it has v3.71 firmware on it. I would love to get my homebrew working again. Can someone please advise what I need to do to get this functionality back.
Thanks in advance. | |
