Yesterday Sony released firmware 4.01 for the PSP. This is a small update, but does fix some handy things. It doesn't however add anything new. Download via Network Update or below.
The changes include: Quote: - Display of search results under Internet Search has been improved for certain languages.
- Playback of video content under Video has been improved for certain file types.

Points: 0.12 Donate | | | 4.0 sucks, and 4.01 sucks even harder. COME ON! You give us crap features that we already had as it is (Even though I believe that I read in a comment by Michael M./FreePlay that the firmware number increases are now based on the SDK version, not to measure improvements, this is still no excuse), and THEN you release AN UPDATE to said crap firmware that TOOK SO LONG TO MAKE THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD THESE FEATURES PLUS MORE IN 4.0 TO BEGIN WITH. Is it just me or have Sony devs become just plain lazy? We have Youtube, Google Earth, etcetera working on the PSP via hacks, yet their professionals can't beat these unpaid devs? I'm seriously losing faith in Sony in alot of areas.
