A clone of the popular word game Text twist. Source Quote:
Yay!! Finally, I was able to finish my first PSP homebrew game project. I introduce you, Tweexter. I really can can’t come up with a great name so i just combined twist and texter. Tweexter is very similar to Gamehouse’s Texttwist. You are given a set of 7 letters(on future release, it will be a combination of 6 and 7 letters) and you have to unscramble it to a more sensible word. To advance to the next round you need to solve the 7 letter word.
I was really planning on porting Texttwist to PSP, retaining the graphics and sounds but I figured that i could get in a lot of trouble if I do so. So i restarted from scratch, producing the graphics, except for the background. Currently, there is no sound effects, but i’m planning to add sfx on the next releases.
Included in the release is the source code. I am not a great programmer, so please don’t expect super fast and efficient algorithms. It was written in C++, but can be easily converted to C. I’m not an expert in C, so I just used this project as an opportunity to experience C++. The use of classes was a total mess and since i’m too lazy to rewrite it, I ended up sticking to it. To compile the source code, you’ll need a pspsdk, and a couple of it’s dependencies, namely, libpng and zlib.

Audio Synthesis and Sequencing on the PSP
Notes for this version: includes updates to synthesizer, increased memory for WAV files, and many improvements to make writing music easier source Download psp7800 Atari 7800 emulator
Notes for this version: - Sound improvement, new prosystem.dat file & NTSC Palette fix by Carpy (aka Danno) - A thumbnail image is now displayed in the file requester while selecting any file with the same name of a previously saved game. It might be very helpful to recognize that game later if you have thousand different games in your rom folder ! - Auto-fire uses now the key mapped as Cross button instead of FIRE1 (games such as Xevious use FIRE2 for fire so it is better this way) - In the emulator menu you can go directly to keyboard and settings menu using the L-Trigger key. - Fix IR keyboard issue with fw >= 3.80 for FAT PSP - Fix random black screen issue - Bug fix in the low battery watchdog Source Download psp2600 Atari 2600 emulator

I remember BUtterballer360, and I also remember when I was trying to port StarCraft over to PSP but my parters were retarded and released it wayy too early. But it was cool because after we tried to do that we spawned alot of clones, ie. Red Alert. RTS Maker(They stole my damn sprites and code).
Now I run a small website called Dev32, I just recently got it going again. idev32.tk
But these past 3 years have taught me alot also, about how harware and software interact in handhelds and the potential that you can get out of them |
