That's right folks, the PSP-3001 is the real deal! Sony submitted the specs to the FCC in early July and the testing should be done by now. Usually testing takes 2 to 4 weeks. Engadget shared some insight about the matter: Quote: | …the FCC’s tests were all focused on the 2.4GHz spectrum for the PSP-3001’s stated use of 802.11b WiFi (nothing new there) — no GPS, no 802.11 Draft-n, no Bluetooth. |
Sony still hasn't made any official announcements about the PSP-3001, but we can all expect one soon.
