New Exploit found! Libtiff Exploit for Firmware 5.50

Will Sony ever learn. Check this out

Quote:

Things are certainly getting interesting as of late… Recent exploits which lead to chickHEN and now PSP developer wololo has found another. This time its a Libtiff Exploit for Firmware 5.50. Here’s some video proof

So what does this mean? Well it *could* lead to another ChickHEN for 5.50 or even a way to downgrade from Firmware 5.50 to 5.03 so users can run ChickHEN on their PSP’s. We’ll just have to wait and see what comes of this. Care to try this yourself? Download below, put the files in your PSP/PHOTO folder and view. See if it crashes your PSP 5.50 Firmware.

on wololo's blog he take no credit for this....wololo believes it was an old file of his and whomever posted the youtube vid just used his name from the file......
wololo further states that this is just a crash and as of now nothing more....

Oops I meant to put a question mark at the end of the title. Oh well it's fine the way it is. Hopefully this will lead somewhere. Let's just sit back and see

There isn't a downgrade for it just yet. But you can enjoy other homebrew. Just no homebrew that requires Kernel mode.
