WOAH, WHAT? You actually got pong to partially run, to boot a .bin file? If it actually read from a bin file and loaded anything at all from one, you've got yourself a legit exploit!!

Yes. We have got pong semi-running on a 1.5 PSP with this exploit and have not tryed it with a 2.5 yet. But more than likely this will work with 2.5 too. But were not sure yet....

Hurry, try it on 2.5! If you can get it to boot...start writing a Hello World and slap those disbelievers in the face!

Ok, next time please post what firmware version you're running.
1.5 seems to be full of holes lately. The trick is getting it to run on 2.5 or running in kernel-mode on 2.0. You get an ISO loader running on 2.0 then you've found a kernel-mode exploit in 2.0.

If you manage to load something on a 2.5...are you going to submit it to PSPUpdates?

Even if partial, this is still an exploit since it did indeed load code, though on 1.5.
