For all you TiVo addicts out there, this is great news! TV on the go. Woo! Quite frankly, this is really what the PSP and video iPod needed from the very beginning.
"TiVo Inc. is expanding its video recording service so users will be able to transfer recorded TV shows onto Apple Computer's iPods or Sony's PlayStation Portable -- the latest move to make TV available for viewing anywhere."
With any luck the Rogers cable pvr's will follow suit, but they don't even have a function to transfer files to the pc even though they have two easily accessible usb connections right on the front of the box, so I won't hold my breath
