Notice when you downgrade it goes to 99% and then it freezes? Even though when you reboot the PSP, it works at 1.5 firmware with no issues, that 1% that was skipped is essential data to the firmware flasher, as since this flasher accesses and replaces the NAND memory data of the PSP, every single miniscule difference could be VITAL to the downgrade when it is reading the previous files.
Just a thought (thanks to Fanjita for this idea), we're gonna have to experiment with this. | GREAT theory admin. Definitely try using a downgraded 1.5 firmware PSP dump, thats really the only difference between the touched and untouched versions I think..

My Flash1 area still contain my wallpaper from 2.0 usage. And maybe thats why this thing is bricking non-genuine 1.5's? just a thought... And now it's time for some sleep |
