Well, the new functions are not that tempting. I don't suggest anyone to upgrade. Its alright to wait and see what turns up. Sony is not dumb, they might have tighten the security abit.

recode2.6

im a new member and also newb at this type of stuff i have a psp fv2.5 and im thinking about doing the 2.6 upgrade for the rss feeds i have a ton of music i wouldnt mind making a server and playing it on my psp without it being saved on it anyway i had a question is there a way for you guys to get the files for 2.6 and recode them so homebrew would work on 2.6 before upgrading from 2.5 i dont know if that even made sense but is it possible

What rss server do you guys recommend?

A couple of questions.
Does the 2.6 rss client recognize .mp4 enclosures in the rss file? I'm assuming not, but has anyone tried?
Also, anyone know of any good rss server that allows a web playlist creation/editing/selection features? Basically, is there any way to use the rss feed not only stream an enclosed mp3, but to be able to select a playlist or such through some web interface? I mean, you could create a rss file per mp3, but that's kinda stupid.
?? thanks.

Adding New Security Patch Illegal

If sony were to add a security patch, according to California law, must notify you (that screen that tells updates) if sony were indeed to sneak in a patch it would violate the law, because it is not noted in updates.
