Whilst they are nifty features, I agree that there's no way I'm upgrading, and losing my precious 1.5 firmware. I might try to load it with the new firmware launcher, but flashing is out of the question. Even if I had a 2.5, I probably wouldn't, because 2.5 would get cracked and 2.6 may not be.

I'd wait it out.

Gameboy's looking better and better

hmmmm so you playstation fans have to update your brand new PSP's firmware? sorry i'm a little confused because Nintendo Gameboy has never had such problems, see when Nintendo makes something, it works..... oh well i guess you guys can have fun upgrading your firmware every few months so your games will work.

Buy an I-Pod

i've been reading through some of these posts and realize that the perfect product for all you "gamers" out there, would be an I-Pod, since all you guys seem to care about is what video format will be supported. Plus I-pod have a long battery life. Well i guess anything would have a longer battery life than a PSP.
