The most anticipated 'homebrew-of-all-homebrews' for 2.01/2.5 firmware PSPs has been released, in its initial BETA form.
Fanjita (
fanjita.org) and Ditlew have completed work on the eLoader (also known as an EBOOT Loader), and have released it to the public for stability/compatibility testing. This is the biggest news yet for the 2.01/2.5 scene, and we are all proud of Fanjita and Ditlew's work, moving the 2.01+ scene along from the start to the present (lets not forget Edison Carter, big ups to him too!). Remember, this eLoader works through the GTA hack, so you'll
need GTA in order to use it! Be sure to read the readme.txt file included in the download package for detailed setup instructions and more!
Check out the list of compatible EBOOTs on Fanjita's site
here. It will be updated as more and more EBOOTs are loaded and results sent to Fanjita. So everyone try all of your favorite EBOOTs, and see if they work!
Although 2.6 is not supported yet, and might take a while longer to get working as the system calls are completely jumbled up compared to 2.01/2.5, there always is hope for you all, so stay patient as developers continue to work on it.
