Just recently, I had been hearing rumors about some Pursuit Force UMD Demo Discs going around from Sony. I thought, you know, some kids trying to get some attention, as usual.
Well today I checked my mail and had a heck of a surprise. I happened to recieve a copy of the Pursuit Force Demo! Weird though, I haven't submitted my address to Sony at all. I have not registered my PSPs, am not a member of their site or forums, and have private WHOIS info enabled for PSP3D.com. So how did they find my address? Eh... whatever, as long as I get free stuff like this.
If ya want to see some more pics of the game UMD and the box I recieved, go

This brings upon an interesting new phase in the line of Sony's PSP marketing. So far, we have only seen BETA releases of some games like SOCOM, and more recently, Syphon Filter. But demos? This is a first.
Personally, I think this is a great new addition to Sony's marketing approach. Much better than their whole 'gangsta street graffiti' thing. Unlike those, I hope to see many more of these demos in the future. But when will Sony introduce memory stick downloadable game demos? I think this is a much more cost-effective option, but they must be worried about the consquences of such actions (possible hacking benefits).
Anyone else recieve this demo? And how did Sony find your address? Hmm... nice game anyways.
