We at PSP 3D are proud to announce that that we will now be using an IRC server at VGIRC.com, sponsored in part by Fwurl.com. We will be working closely with VGIRC and Fwurl to bring great new features to PSP 3D, and some awesome promotional contests in the near future!

Our 'Chat' link in the navigation of PSP 3D will link you to a flash-based version of the IRC chat room, allowing you to connect to other PSP 3D users, and even other website channels. The new reliable server will provide outstanding uptime, giving us all a stable chat room to talk on.

Alternativly, more net savy users might want to download mIRC here or at this mirror. Here are a few tutorials to help get you started using mIRC: Introduction, Command List, and for those of you who are having some more general issues, check out the FAQ.

To connect using mIRC, add a new server to your list called irc.vgirc.com, at port 6667. To join the PSP 3D channel type #psp3d into the join window that pops up. Simple as that. See you all in the chat room!

Thanks for this!! Everytime I clicked the chat I blacked screen and then my computer shut off. I have no idea why ti happened, but hopefully it works now.
