Points: 461,099.82 Donate | | | How To Fix Dead Pixels! Here is a very simple guide on Digg.com that actually works! It is meant for computer LCD Monitors, but it also works with the PSP. I am not sure if this fixes lit (white) pixels, but it should. The PSP will require a bit more pressure because of the protective screen overlay. - Turn off your PSP (or computer LCD monitor if you want to fix a pixel on it).
- Get yourself a damp cloth, so that you don't scratch your screen.
- Apply pressure to the area where the dead pixel is. Do not put pressure anywhere else, as this may make more dead pixels.
- While applying pressure, turn on your PSP ( or computer and screen).
- Remove pressure and the dead pixel should be gone. This works as the oil has not spread into each little pixel. This oil is used with the backlight on your monitor, allowing different amounts of light through which give off different colours.
