Wow. Looks like we already got some great progress on a 2.5 exploit. The author, PSPlayer1001, says:

Here is a mirror to the hack progress movie AND an EBOOT to try this hack on your own 2.5 PSP!

"Incuded are 2 movies 1 shows my software as 2.5. And the other shows My psp view the included EBOOT and lock up because the EBOOT contains the overflow.tif from the MPH downgrader. After it locked up I cut the power and rebooted. My psp worked fine after I rebooted it. No downgrade yet from this. but the EBOOT included bypasses the TIF patch because the psp TIF patch does not affect the EBOOT handler."

There may be an upcoming downgrader from this.

hey guys just posting to tell you that yes this does work!!! cant wait to see what you do next.

PLZ NOTE: in order to run this you need to put the EBOOT in the UPDATE folder
ex: ms:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE

i have 3 PSP's,
2 v1.50 PSP's & 1 v2.50 PSP

COULDNT YOU MAKE IT LOOK ALL LEET WITH GREEN LETTERS FALLING DOWN IN COLUMS??? nevermind its ok, i can look deep within the psp and "feel" what its doing, i am one with the matrix. ARE YOU?

Its really sad that people dont read into any info before they post. Everyone is waiting keep and eye here and you'll know when progress is out, hence patience is a virtue. I'm glad to hear some of the end of that bull about it being fake and all that cal. Keep it up!
