So how about this: would a person running 2.5 be able to run 1.5 from the memory stick in order to run homebrew? I've read all the posts, and no one's really stated whether this is possible...

Help me Please

Ok guys im stuck and gettin a headache trying to figure out these readme files. I want to emulate firmware build 2.0, i have the out and outx folder from the 2.0 and 1.5 eboots that i dumped using psardump (the outx from the 2.0 is empty of course). I know i need the flash1 from 1.5 to emulate 2.0, but how the hell do i build my flash1(from 1.5) and flash0(from 2.0)???!!! Is there a difference between ms0 ms1, and the flash1 and flash0 directories? Can someone explain to me what files from which firmwares go where in noob butthead terms. I have been trying to figure it out on my own and i admit defeat!!

Thanx guy
shizz

Sadly, GTA does not work. I have tested this myself. I downloaded the decrypted 2.0 firmware from rapidshare and put it in the directory of my memstick and launched the fw launcher program. It worked successfully, I was running a partial 2.0 on 1.5. Then I put in my GTA UMD. It loaded, and loaded, until the familiar car background with the explosion and "Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories" came up. Surprisingly, no video or audio plays. You just see a flashing black/white picture in the space where the GTA video is supposed to be playing, with that awesome theme song. When you press X to load it, it just goes back to UMD, then loads the GTA background with same black/white flashing picture. Might be playable in next update of FW loader, but for now, sadly no. Same thing with the web browser, does not even load! If you want to run programs from memory stick, you get a "Game is corrupted, can not start" error. So in all, a big
